You've Been Soap'd....

Lets all put our faces on shall we?!!! Lol

This weekend i had the pleasure of someone else...
Doing this for me...as it was way overdue.
See...i have completely stopped tanning {whoo-hoo}...
And to say my foundation was a different color...
Is an understatement friends.
So...off to the MAC gals i sure did go!!!



Now the most embarassing part is...
Shall i say...having to wipe clear all your make-up.
{Yes for some this is easy, but i don't go without}
So there i was doing just this...when i ask...
If the towels she was giving me had soap in them...
And sure enough they did...uh-oh...BIG problem there :(
See...i'm allergic to ALL soaps...cleansers on my face...
And so with this...my face was becoming a tomato...no joke!!!
So...not only was i surrounded by hundreds sans make-up...
But i was also bright red to boot. {could it get any worse?}

She immediately rushed away to get water for me to wipe clean...
As i sit helpless...waiting...waiting...as more people pass by.
Ahh...she's back!!! Fan me with cool air and there's my color again.

{my hubs prefers me without, but i disagree...haha}
My color went down just a notch to NC20.
{when tan...i used NC 25 & NC30}
Not only that, but i switched from Studio Fix to Satin Finish...
And i must say i've notice a HUGE difference in appearance...
As it's softer and more natural with a pearlized sheen.
And the finishing touch is...Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder.

I think i'm ready for my close-up!!! Lol

You Hear But You Don't Listen....

When someone is speaking to me...i listen...
Intently at that...with BOTH ears and confirm i heard right...
Especially when i'm being asked to do something.

Now don't get me wrong...i completely understand that...
Mistakes happen and things can be misunderstood...but...
When it comes to a haircut i'm straight to the point on what i want.
{I specifically show...bring pictures to help and explain length}
So how is it so that someone could mess up so badly...right?!!!

Well...just as of yesterday...this such thing did happen :(
I can't even express the look on my face...as it was of shock.
I couldn't even speak...I was & am PISSED beyond words y'all...
And this doesn't happen to me very often.
I wanted to scream and yell...walk right out and not pay...
But i would never...ever do that to someone...even though i was mad.

When we're talking about hair...you don't mess around.

My poor son...he was more crushed than me...
As that lady shaved his head...yes that's right...SHAVED!!!
I mean really...how do you get "take an inch off the top" to shaved?
{please help me see the reasoning or logic here}
I went to beauty school...so i know it's not that tough...snip-snip.

If there is anything i can take away from this lesson...it's this...
CUT HIS HAIR MYSELF!!! {problem solved}
I mean really...i could have done what she did.
{I think she was jealous my son has better hair than her}
