love it! this is so true. i read once a story of one mother who loved being with her children, who thought they were the sweetest most wonderful and precious of all things. another mother who couldn't wait until her kids were grown and gone, who referred to them as brats and considered them a nuisance. the story goes... those mothers could have switched children and they still would have talked about them the exact same way!! as you've said it's all in the way we choose to see things.
This is so true! It's all about our outlook. I try so hard to look for the good in bad situations.. of course it doesnt always work but reminders like this help!! :)

I lived in a darker world when I was younger. I didn't understand how to deal with my emotions and I gave in and focused on the hurt and the bad and the pain too much. Now I chose to see the good- to find the silver lining. I just realized life is too short to do anything else. We only get to do this once... and I want to do it with smiles and laughter and rose colored glasses :)
