It amazes me the things they ask.
Because this is when it happens.
{The questions that is}
And today was no exception.
Here is how it played out:
"Mom...why do we have a tongue?"
-So we can taste our yummy food.
"Why do we have teeth?"
-So we can chew our food.
"Why do we have lips?"
-So i can kiss you whenever i want.
"Why do we have a neck?"
-So i can turn my head to see you.
"Not uh...So we can swallow our food."
I think they ask to prove we are wrong.
They caught me with the last one :)
And then they go on to tell me things...
"Mom...why do we wear our seat belts?"
-So the police man doesn't pull us over.
"Ha...like when grammy & papa didn't."
-What?
"They weren't wearing theirs & got caught."
How genius these questions come to be.
~Children don't lie~
I had to giggle in the end.
My children know wrong from right...
And wearing your seatbelt is #1.
"Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find; knock and
the door will be opened to you".
