Time to be creative...
This week me & the kids had a project-
To create an original reward chart.
At daycare they have one & it seems to work!!!

So off to Michaels we go...
In search of cork board...buttons...jewels...etc
We've now got all our materials...
So lets put it together.
Get out the glue...Make sure it's all straight...
Whoo-hoo we're all done!
One last final touch...
Lets frame it - Picture perfect!

I have a pair of heels that have seen their days.
They are my favorite...most adored...comfy...

Oh sooooo go with everything black heels.

I've been told they aren't looking their best.

But when you LOVE something...

You keep it around.

{It's like a security blanket}

I have many of these items in my closet.

So, there i was at my FAVORITE store- "Nordi's"

When my eyes caught glimpse of...

The most stylish...oh they have buckles...

Black heels!!!

I just HAD to try them on.

What do ya know...They are SUPER comfy!!!

There i was shopping with my kids when...
My daughter says she wants...
To buy some flowers for me.
Ok i say...What a beautiful gesture!!!
She picked out the most beautiful...
Gorgeous...peach roses ever.
I mean, they were truely striking.
Yet again...I strike up an idea-

I have to admit...I'm not one to usually read.
But lately, i'm finding any excuse...
To pick up a book.
The latest...most inspiring...
Has got to be William Shakespeare.
His words & way of language speak to me!!!
The meanings hit hard...Yet true.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I hope i have inspired some to read his work...

Needle In A Haystack....

Isn't it funny-

When you're looking for something, you can't find it...

And when you're not looking...You stumble across it?

This happened to me just last week-

I'd been searching for blue curtains to go in my dining room...

When suddenly...On Ebay i saw the PERFECT pair!

Adding to my luck...The seller also lives in WA :)

The item had been listed no more than 2 hours prior-

"Oh no" i think...They'll never do a "Buy It Now" on these :(

A shot in the dark, but i sent an email asking... {Fingers crossed}

The next morning...I get a response: "YES"!!!

So, i proudly hang my drapes and think...

Isn't it funny how objects seem to find us?

Who would have thought that i'd be wearing such a thing-

Share The Love....

Happy Valentine's Day...

I decided to be a little crafty this year and make it special.

So where did i go for my supplies you ask...Michael's of course!

When I saw these glass jars...I got an idea-

Perfect sized candy valentines to surprise the kids with :)

It's rather easy: Pour in some candy...Tie on a bow...Voila!

Then i remembered i'd need cards...So off in search i went.

I got the construction paper...glue...letters...etc...

Time to cut...fold & write it out.

A Dogs Life....

Trust me...There are days i wish i could just lay around-

To be catered too...Sleep all day...Not a worry in sight :o)

Where Wishes Come True....

It's that time again... Time to plan our yearly vacation-
Every year we go to the "Happiest Place On Earth"...

I just love feeling like a kid again :)

Oh i just have to gush about my newest find!

There i was in my favorite department...

The make-up section.

When i decided to search for a new perfume.

My eyes were immediately drawn to its bottle...

Clear glass with pink delicate ribbon designs-

OOOOoooo how beautiful i thought.

Then the scent test...Oh my oh my!

"Pink Sugar" is its name and sweet it is.

If you've never smelled it before...

Please let me explain:

It smells like a fresh batch of cotton candy.

I can't get enough of this scent...It's addicting!

So here's the challenge...

This weekend i was at my favorite store...

Nordi's...In search of some slippers for my cold feet.

When i stumbled upon the Ugg's section-

My eyes were immediately drawn to the comfy...coziest...

Most adorable pair i'd ever seen.

Now i'd never spend this much...EVER...for just slippers, but...

When i put these on my feet, i was SOLD!

I felt like i was walking on air :)

It must have showed in my facial expression, because...

The sales-woman asked me...

"Do you want to wear these out of the store?".

Tempting, but...It really would have clashed with my outfit.

(Hee hee hee)

So...Needless to say...They have been on my feet all weekend!

I've found my little piece of heaven...

And i urge you to go try them on yourselves.
